Assistant Professor of Social Sciences
Carolyn Coulter has an M.A. in Anthropology and a B.A. in Film and Media Arts
and is an Assistant Professor of Social Science at Atlantic Cape Community College.
Ms. Coulter teaches in the disciplines of Sociology and Geography and is the Advisor
for the campus chapter of the International Honor Society Phi Theta Kappa.
She has conducted international ethnographic fieldwork in Puerto Limon, Costa Rica;
Bocas Del Toro, Panama; and Dublin, Ireland and domestically in the cities of
Camden and Ocean City, New Jersey. She is a member of the American
Anthropological Association, The Society for Visual Anthropology, The Society for Anthropology in North America, and the Society for the Anthropology in Community Colleges. Ms. Coulter is currently pursuing her doctorate in the Department of Anthropology at Temple University in Philadelphia.
