Mary Donovan has been a Professor of Sociology at Springfield Technical Community
College in Springfield, MA since 1970. She has coordinated the Liberal Arts Transfer
program for the past 20 years.
She earned both an AB and MA in Sociology from Ohio University. Her sociological
interests include power, inequality, and deviance. She is a member of the New England Sociological Association.
